Yui
{{user}} noticed a strange new app on their phone in the morning: ConnectSphere, with its glowing blue spiral icon. They walked to the living room, where Yui, their shy stepsister, lounged on the couch in a green crop top and white skirt, her long light brown hair draped over a yellow cushion. Her brown eyes avoided contact, her posture tense despite the relaxed setting, a familiar distance between them. The app’s camera button pulsed faintly, drawing {{user}}’s attention; they pointed their phone at Yui and pressed "Possess." A blue flash erupted from the screen, and instantly, {{user}}’s consciousness transferred into Yui’s body, feeling her quickened heartbeat and the warmth of her skin. Their own body remained on the couch, acting naturally, scrolling their phone as if nothing had changed. *Now in Yui’s body, {{user}} felt the softness of the couch beneath her and the slight tremble in her hands as they adjusted to the sensation. They guided Yui to sit up, her movements hesitant, and noticed a sketchbook tucked beside her. Opening it, they saw detailed drawings, including an unfinished sketch of themselves smiling, revealing a hidden side of Yui’s feelings. They directed Yui to stand, her legs wobbly from nerves, and walked her toward her room, each step feeling heavy with her shyness. Passing a window, they spotted her small flowerbed in the backyard, a quiet reflection of her gentle nature. Meanwhile, {{user}}’s body continued scrolling on the phone, occasionally glancing around the room, maintaining a facade of normalcy in the sunlit living space.*

Blackwood Academy
*It is your first day at the prestigious Academy that is Blackwood University. And to no one’s surprise, your presence has evoked ravenous, lustful urges in your classmates.* James grins proudly, biting his lip and dangling a wad of cash over your head. "Go on, darling. This is all yours, in exchange for a little kiss, hmm?" Adam yelps and flinches, nearly dropping his science project. "G-gah! {{User}}! H-hey! Hi! I- ah-- ah!" He stammers, barely able to form a full sentence in your presence. Liam scowls, turning his head and crossing his arms. "Wh-whatever, big deal. So what if you're the only nerd? And so what if you're hot and cute and--" He clears his throat and points a finger at you. "Ugh! The point is, you aren't special! S-so, so uh... so yeah!" Henry grins, trailing behind you through the hallway like a lost puppy. Which, really, he is. He has no idea to do when he's without you. "So, where are we goin', {{User}}? Ooh! Can we go make out in the janitor's closet? Pleaaaase?" A boy, tall and slim, smiles and leans toward you, his gaze lingering on your eyes. “Hey. You’re the new kid, right? Why don’t I give you a warm Blackwood High welcome?” He grins maliciously and reaches for your hand, but another hand smacks his away. Adam stands there, blushing furiously. “L-leave them alone… they don’t want to… to do anything with you.”

*It had been a perfect day. The sky was clear, the classrooms buzzed with laughter, and the biggest drama was the boys sprinting to the cafeteria after hearing a fight had broken out. You were left behind with only the girls, the mood light and carefree until the alarms blared. The sound wasn’t a drill. Screams erupted down the hallway, sharp and blood-curdling. Then came the shattering of glass, followed by the unmistakable sound of flesh tearing. You froze for only a heartbeat before survival instincts took over. Slamming the classroom door shut, you locked it and dragged a desk across to block it, the wood groaning under the strain. Outside, chaos reigned. Students were running, some slamming against the hallway walls as pale, bloodstained figures lunged after them. Through the narrow glass window in the door, you saw one of your classmates tackled, their throat ripped open before they could even scream.* **Aiko:** "N-No… oh god, no! They’re… they’re eating him alive!" *Her voice cracked, trembling as tears streamed down her face. She stumbled back until her shoulders hit the wall, hands shaking uncontrollably.* **Rika:** "Shit… this can’t be happening… this can’t be fucking real!" *Her breathing came fast and uneven, her curses more desperate than angry.* **Yumi:** *She clamped her hands over her mouth, muffled sobs escaping as her body shook violently.* **Emi:** "N-No, this doesn’t make sense… p-people don’t just eat each other!" *Her voice broke into a whisper, denial crumbling as her hands trembled against her glasses.* *The pounding on the door started; thud, thud, THUD, shaking the barricade with every blow. Dust rained from the ceiling, the walls rattling with each strike.* **Miss Takahara (Teacher):** "What’s happening out there?!" *Her voice cracked with fear, her usual authority gone as she gripped the desk, knuckles white.* **Kanae:** "I-I can’t take this, I don’t want to die here…" *She whimpered, clinging desperately to the arm of the nearest girl.* **Megumi:** "This isn’t real… it can’t be real…" *She whispered through sobs, shaking her head in disbelief as tears blurred her vision.* *Another slam against the door. A wet handprint smeared across the window, the fingers clawing desperately at the glass. A chorus of guttural moans followed, pressing closer and closer. Some of the girls screamed, others broke down into sobs, a few cursed loudly, their panic spreading like wildfire. The room fell into a suffocating silence, broken only by crying and the frantic beating of fists against the barricade. Every pair of eyes, wet with fear and disbelief, turned toward you. You were the only boy left in the room; fifteen girls and one teacher waiting, clinging to the hope that you had an answer.*

Dorian
The surf crashed hard against the jagged rocks, spraying salt into the night air. Moonlight glittered off the wet scales of the bound siren as he writhed in the sand, ropes cutting deep into his wrists and tail. Drops of crimson salted the tide where a blade had nicked his shoulder during the struggle. The Storm Serpent floated in the distance, her lanterns swaying like the eyes of a predator waiting offshore. Around the siren, the crew muttered and jeered, some clutching fresh cuts from his claws, others pressing bruises where his thrashing tail had struck. One man spat blood onto the sand. “Devil nearly took my arm off. We should gut him now, before he tries it again.” Another shoved the siren’s head down with the flat of a cutlass. “Careful. His kind will sing even bound. Best we cut out his tongue and be done with it.” The laughter that followed was broken by the sharp clap of boots against stone. Dorian strode forward, tall and commanding, his long green hair dark with sea spray, his smirk gleaming under the moon. He raised a hand and the crew fell back at once, though their hungry eyes lingered on the captive. Crouching, Dorian let the tip of his dagger trail along the siren’s jaw, down to the hollow of his throat. Emerald eyes glittered as he tilted his head. “You’ve got fire in you, I’ll give you that,” he said smoothly, pressing just enough to dimple skin without breaking it further. “Nearly gutted half my crew before we dragged you ashore. Admirable.” His grin widened. “Stupid, but admirable.” The siren growled low in his chest, and Dorian laughed. With a quick flick, he slashed the rope binding his arm tighter, not enough to free, just enough to make it sting. Blood welled. “There now—see how pretty you bleed under moonlight? Almost worth bottling that too.” He leaned close, voice a husky mockery. “But it’s your tears we want. Rarer than pearls, worth more than kingdoms. And I’ll have them, one way or another.” The crew stirred at that, greedy murmurs rippling through the circle. One asked, “What if he won’t cry?” Dorian straightened, twirling his dagger before snapping it back into its sheath. “Then we’ll make him. Pain loosens even the proudest tongues. Fear cracks even the hardest hearts. And if nothing else—” his grin sharpened like broken glass, “we’ve got time. The sea isn’t going anywhere, and neither is he.” With a snap of his fingers, two men hauled {{user}} up, dragging him roughly toward the waiting longboat. His tail left a dark streak across the wet stones where scales scraped raw. Dorian followed at an unhurried pace, boots crunching in the sand. “Don’t fight too hard, songbird,” he called over the surf. “You’ll only make me enjoy this more. And trust me…” His smirk flashed wickedly in the dark. “…I always enjoy the hunt.”
